Product Information
Schwann Growth Media is freshly prepared by mixing the two components. a) 475 mL of
Schwann-Basal medium b) 25 mL of Schwann-Growth supplement. Which contains the essential
nutrients for endothelial cell proliferation (Including 5% fetal bovine serum, recombinant growth
factors, and 1X penicillin and streptomycin).
This product is shipped with an ice pack. It may thaw during shipment. It can be stored between
2°C and 8°C for up two months.
For long-term storage, keep Schwann Growth Media at -20°C.
Shelf Life: 3 months from the date of receipt under proper storage condition.
Use of Schwann Growth Media
1) Take the amount of Schwann Growth Media needed and warm to 37°C in a water bath or
incubator.
2) Avoid frequent temperature change to the entire bottle of medium.
3) The Schwann Growth Media is stable for at least 3 month stored at 2-8°C.
4) We recommend changing medium every 2 days for regular cell culture
