Poly-L-Lysine Coated plate

Product Description

Catalog # PLCP12
Product Storage 4 ºC
Poly-L-lysine Coated plate are manufactured to support and promote cell growth.
Collagen Coated plate achieve optimal differentiation. Enhancement of neuronal cell
attachment to plastic and glass, promotion of neurite outgrowth, culture of glial cells as
a feeder layer for neurons, construction of neural cell model systems to study CNS
function, development and diseases.
The lower molecular weight poly-L-lysine (30-70 kDa) is easier to use because it is less
viscous in solution, but the higher molecular weight poly-L-lysine (>300 kDa) provides
more attachment sites per molecule. The mid-range product has a MW range of 70-150
kDa. There might be a small amount of product in the β structure, but very little. This is
because the HBr interferes with hydrogen bonding between the amino and carboxyl
groups, or between the amino group and other N or O containing moieties. The
secondary structures of polyamino acids have never been extensively studied, but it is
known that the degree of secondary conformational regularity depends on the amino
acid in the polymer. Plates can be used in a broad range of applications, including the
culturing of fresh or frozen hepatocytes (rat and human), as well as for neuronal,
epithelial, and muscle primary cells. They are also ideal for culturing human corneal
epithelial cells (HCEC) in defined media.

The coated plate bound to 6, 12, 24 and 96 well plates, you can routinely venture
beyond the rigidity of tissue culture plastic. STABILITY Stable for a minimum of 3
months from date of shipment when stored at 4ºC
